The amount of sand filter media or glass filter media that is used inside the swimming pool filters varies depending on the size of the filter. Filter media removes the suspended particles from the water as it passes through and should be changed every 3-5 years. You cannot use regular builders sand!
We also stock Intex A and Intex B Filter Cartridges and can get hold of most replacement filter cartridges for swimming pools and spas
