Over 90% of your swimming pool's heat is lost through the water surface, and the cost of a solar cover can be recovered in as little as 6 months due to the reduced cost of heating your pool. A solar cover will also act as your swimming pool's own heat source and could increase you pool water temperature up to 15 degrees during periods of prolonged sunshine. A solar cover such as the Midas 500, Sol + Guard 500 or Apollo 400 will also reduce the amount of swimming pool chemicals being used and help prevent debris. Solar covers may require trimming on site.
Solar covers over 12m should be fitted with a leading edge.
Please note that welding on solar covers can lead to a slight waving and that cover guarantee is void if pool temperature exceeds 29 degrees C, or SPATA standards for chemical and TDS level are not met.
