We recommend our Water Treatment Starter Kit as an ideal buy when you first get your new above ground swimming pool, but bear in mind that it contains all of the swimming pool supplies that you need for the summer, so it is suitable for all small above ground pool owners at any point in the season. It is also cheap to buy all of your swimming pool chemicals in our Water Treatment Starter kit rather than getting them seperately. Make sure that you have enough swimming pool chlorine and shock to last you throughout the season, it’s always handy to have pH minus (pH-, pH down) and pH plus (pH+, pH up) in your swimming pool supplies as you never know when you’re going to need to adjust the pH. Algicide (Algaecide) is the other one to keep in stock especially at this time of year when swimming pools tend to turn green with algae. A dose every two weeks will keep the algae at bay supplemented of course by fortnightly chlorine shocks where you spike the chlorine levels up by 5-10ppm to kill off all those nasties.
