Rubber Winter Winterising Plug  - 

1.25 - 1.5 inch or 1.5 - 2 inch tapered winterising butterfly style plugs to help protect your swimming pool over winter or to temporarily bung pipe work.

'Butterfly' top screws down to expand plug and keep it snug to your pipe work. The 1.5inch plug goes from 1.25inches to 1.5inch, and the 2 inch plug is 1.5inch - 2 inches.

Most domestic pool pipe work uses 1.5 inch pipes and fittings, this name is taken from the internal pipe measurement and most of the 1.5 inch fittings actually measure closer to 2 inches which can be confusing! as such many people think their pipework is bigger than it is.
